Can I tell you a story, I will try to keep it short. 25 years ago, I married my high school sweetheart and we began dreaming of starting our family. 5 years and a miscarriage later, we decide to adopt a little boy. We were assured that he would be just the beginning and we tried again, but it was not to be.
After much pain and many tears, as well as another miscarriage, we opened our hearts to another little boy and a few years later a little girl. While we love our little monkeys with every fiber of our hearts, the journey through foster care to adoption has been a rocky road.
I am sharing with you the beginning of our story, not for boos or yeahs, but to share with you why Kindred Heart Families is so near and dear to our hearts.
